For over thirty years, Arcam has been a meeting place for everyone interested in architecture, urban planning and landscape design in the Amsterdam metropolitan region.
Architecture, urbanism and landscape design are shaping the city.
From there, Arcam discusses and explores the current urban challenges and ambitions that will impact the city in the coming years.
Through debates, presentations and events, we examine and clarify the significance of spatial design and architecture in these processes, and look at the role designers and city makers are playing. We offer an independent and diverse platform and give the floor to designers, clients, builders and users.
In its programmes, Arcam wants to do justice to all the stories, identities and cultures of Amsterdam and, through the Amsterdam architecture debate, architectural history and the architectural profession, involve as diverse an audience as possible in the design assignments of the city. January 2020
