In its architecture programs, Arcam aims to do justice to all the stories, identities and cultures that Amsterdam is made up of, and to involve as diverse an audience as possible in the city's design challenges through the Amsterdam architecture debate, architectural history and the architecture profession.

Diversity
Develop program and policies that take into account and do justice to the multiplicity of cultures (ancestry, faith), gender (identity, sex) and ages (young to old).
Inclusiveness
Actively engaging the most diverse audience possible (see above), taking into account physical limitations (wheelchair accessibility, hard of hearing) and educational level (understanding, interest).
Nature inclusiveness
Co-existence of humans with animals and nature in and around the city.
