Amsterdam Architecture Talk

A crash course on Amsterdam's rich architectural history

03.09.21

Arcam

How did the Amsterdam canals come about? Which areas of the harbour were transformed in the 90s? Who is H.P. Berlage? Where are the Floating homes? Find out every first Friday of the month in September, October and November 2021 at Arcam.

We introduce you to the history, present times and future of Amsterdam architecture during a crash course on Friday afternoon.

Our Amsterdam Architecture Talk offers a 45-minute introduction lecture to Amsterdam’s rich architectural history. One of the guides from Cityloop will unravel the city’s urban structure from its earliest foundations up until the most recent developments. The Amsterdam Architecture Talk will enhance your understanding of the city’s unique urban fabric and will make you familiar with the Dutch capital’s most significant buildings. Coffee & tea included!

The Amsterdam Architecture Talk is perfect for architecture lovers who are keen to learn more about the unique history of Amsterdam. We often welcome international architects, student groups and culture-minded tourists.
