What is the role of the architect? This Barcam focuses on the growing gap between the public perception of architecture and the everyday practice of the profession.

During the Barcam, the changing position of the sector within the construction chain will be examined, as well as how broader, global developments have contributed to a working environment with complex and sometimes demanding conditions for both firm owners and employees.

This Barcam is organized in collaboration with NAA! Collective. NAA! (Netherlands Angry Architects; Nederlandse Architecten Anonieme; NAA het werk) is a collective that organizes architecture workers to advocate for fair working conditions, transparency, accountability within the sector, and greater employee influence in the architecture and construction industry.
