Designing the unplannable in realtime digitalities
Arcam sessions

Regardless the amount of data available or maybe because of that iti has become increasingly difficult to predict the future human needs in housing, work, leisure, healthcare and social interaction. How can an innovative use and application of data help us design the unplannable?

Programme

You+Pea is the architectural design studio of Sandra Youkhana and Luke Caspar Pearson. For the Arcam sessions they will give a keynote lecture on their practice and the Videogame Urbanism studio at the Bartlett School of Architecture, where they promote the use of game technologies in architectural education.

After their keynote lecture, they will engage in conversation with the winners of INDESEM 2021, a student prize for designing with data at the TU Delft, who will shortly present their winning ideas. The jury of INDESEM 2021 (consisting of members from MVRDV, UNStudio, OMA and ZJA) will announce the winners in early june.

Winy Maas (MVRDV) and Paul Cornet (OMA*AMO) will also join the conversation and reflect on the three winning ideas of INDESEM.
