Opening Cityguide to Waste: Artifacts of Accumulation

30.01.25

19:00—21:45
Arcam

Welcome to the opening of Cityguide to Waste: Artifacts of Accumulation on Thursday evening, January 30th at 7 pm at Arcam. This exhibition invites us to reconsider waste, not as a byproduct, but as a reflection of our society and a crucial theme in urban planning and ecology.

We warmly invite you to think and talk about how design and policy can transform our relationship with waste. The evening will focus on deepening our understanding, reflecting, and finding inspiration around this urgent theme, including the premiere of the documentary Artifacts of Accumulation.

The film takes the viewer on an audiovisual journey through the parallel world of waste processing in and around Amsterdam. It reveals how our approach to waste exposes cultural and ecological issues.
