On Tuesday, March 31, Arcam will host an open roundtable on collective housing from 2:00 – 3:30 PM, as part of the European Collective Housing Award. The conversation is open to anyone interested in how collective housing projects genuinely contribute to new ways of living together.
The European Collective Housing Award highlights collective housing projects that truly impact the way people live, both architecturally and socially. It’s not just about the building itself, but also about what it means for the people who live there. The award recognizes new constructions and renovations, public and private, from all 46 countries of the Council of Europe.
This second edition of the award is taking a European tour with roundtables in Barcelona, Amsterdam, Ljubljana, and Sarajevo. At Arcam, we will discuss innovative housing projects and their social impact together with architects, policymakers, researchers, residents, and other stakeholders.
The award is organised by the Basque Architecture Institute (EAI) and arc en rêve centre d’architecture with the support of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda of the Basque Government.
